An exploration, meditation, contemplation of one theme: admiration. We asked writers to create anything they wanted – fiction, poetry, visual art, essay – as long as it focused on the book's theme and could fit within the space of ten pages.
Each creator receives six copies of the book, to share with whomever they like. Meaning only 60 books will ever be published and distributed. We wanted to see what could happen if we removed the pressure of 'sale-worthy,' and slid into its place an intimate experience, a shared gift, a piece of art to cherish and pass on to loved ones.
We're documenting the process, saving our notes and communications, etc. Upon project completion, we'll be sharing the design files, boilerplates, finances – all the nitty gritty. We hope that others use this template. We're happy to answer questions and talk through obstacles, ideas, joys, whatever.
