This project was organized, designed, and edited by Kristy Hanson and Luke Finsaas, co-founders of Hafi Design.

The idea was to create a small biosphere where artists can reflect and create something out of love, to create space for sharing meaningful thoughts/feelings/expressions to people we care about. To put some of that feeling into a gift that is shared, spiraling out into the world.

We also wanted to explore what it means to embrace intimacy and reject Scale. So much of publishing, writing, and art seems to be geared toward profit production: what will sell? what do the masses want? In a way, this project is an experiment: where will our inner gaze go when we’re creating art for a small, intimate audience?
